  1. What is tellic graph.c19?
    • tellic graph.c19 is a biomedical knowledge graph developed to assist scientist’s researching the COVID-19 virus identify relationships and insights in public data(such as publications, clinical trials, and patents) that they may apply to their research to accelerate the development of COVID-19 therapeutics, vaccines, and more.
  2. How is tellic graph.c19 different than tellic graph?
    • Tellic graph.c19 contains a subset of the overall tellic graph data that is highly focused on COVID19, coronaviruses, and SARS research. tellic graph contains relationship data on all biomedical entities.
    • For scale, tellic graph.c19 contains over 12 million relationships with a curated from public text data with a strength over 50%, whereas tellic graph contains over 200 million relationships, 71 million of which have a strength over 50%.
  3. What is the tellic graph.c19 corpus?
    • tellic graph.c19 curates and surfaces relationships from the following data sources:
      • PubMed
      • PubMed Central
      • bioRxiv
      • medRxiv
      • arXiv
      • ClinicalTrials.gov
      • CZI
      • Google Patents
      • GWAS catalog
      • Cross-references to commonly used ontologies and data sources such as Uniprot, OpenTargets, and more
  4. How do you generate your data based on the curated research?
    • tellic has patent-pending AI and Natural Language Processing algorithms that identify named entities with text, automatically maps them to known ontologies, then evaluates the semantic structure of the text to quantify the strength of relationships between entities on a 0-100% scale.
  5. What does it cost to use tellic graph.c19?
    • Nothing - tellic is donating subscriptions to tellic graph.c19 for the scientific community in hopes that it will accelerate development of vaccines and/or therapeutics to help patients suffering from COVID-19. Licenses are being made available for through June 30th for up to three members of the same organization.
  6. Where can I go to ask a question or find help on how to use the functionality in tellic graph.c19?
  7. I am interested in using tellic graph to explore biomedical relationships beyond those around COVID-19, how do I upgrade?
    • Please reach out to info@tellic.com and we will work with you to upgrade to the full tellic graph dataset.
  8. Can I share or refer tellic graph.c19 with my colleagues?
  9. How do I cite tellic graph.c19 in my research or publications?
    • Please cite the use of tellic graph.c19 as research methodology in any publications describing work stemming from tellic graph searches. Include the graph version used (for example tellic graph.C19), date accessed, and a brief description.
    • For example:"In the target identification process, we used tellic graph.c19, which uses NLP and AI to process millions of data points across multiple sources (www.tellic.com, tellic graph.c19, searched March 26, 2020)." -- Please contact us for best practice language if you need to include additional details about the tool.
  10. Can I provide feedback or feature requests to improve the tellic graph platform?
    • Please submit any requests for product help, feedback, or feature requests in our service desk here. You may also use the embedded Support widget in the tellic graph.c19 app.
  11. How do I report potential bugs or issues with the data?
    • Please submit any potential bugs, requests for product help, feedback, or feature requests in our service desk here. You may also use the embedded Support widget in the tellic graph.c19 app.
  12. Can I speak to someone at tellic to learn more about tellic graph and tellic data?
    • Please reach out to info@tellic.com and we will be happy to help you learn more about our platform and our data.
  13. Why do some relationships have no strength or 0% strength?
    • This likely means that the relationship only exists in Clinical Trials data. Today, we derive average assertion strength from sentence data in scientific assertions and patent filings. Relationships with no sentence data, such as those in Clinical Trials or GWAS studies would not have an assertion strength to aggregate. We are constantly updating our AI/NLP models, and this may change at a future time.
